Why is Coffee Heroes being released digitally?

​

Coffee Heroes is being released globally via a digital platform so that everyone in the world is able to enjoy its story. 

2020 has been a difficult year for the entire world, with many people unable to attend film screenings and public events. In addition to these changes, many coffee events and competitions across the world have been postponed or cancelled.

The finals of the 2020 World Barista Championships was scheduled to take place in November 2020. As this event is no longer taking place, the Coffee Heroes team wanted to release this film in a digital format so that coffee lovers across the world have something to enjoy in its place.

Can I watch the film as soon as I purchase it for rent?

​

Coffee Heroes is scheduled for global digital release on November 28, 2020. The film will not be available for digital hire before this date.

How do I watch the film on November 28 or afterwards? 

​

The standard and extended editions of Coffee Heroes will be available via Vimeo from November 28, 2020. The link to hire these films will be available from this date via the buttons above, or at https://coffeeheroes.vhx.tv/products

After hiring Coffee Heroes, you will receive email confirmation of your purchase. You will receive a link to watch the film via the digital distribution platform Vimeo/VHX, as an email link.

The link you receive will be valid for a period of 7 days. You may watch the film as many times as you like during this time. After 7 days, your rental period will expire and the film will no longer be available to you.

How many languages is the film subtitled in?

​

Coffee Heroes is predominately in English, but will be released globally with several subtitle options available. This includes English, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Polish, Japanese, Tetum, Mandarin and Cantonese.

How do I get the subtitles to work?

​

If you require the use of subtitles to watch Coffee Heroes, look for the Closed Captions (CC) button on the bottom right hand side of the video. Click this button, and select the language you wish to subtitle the film with. 

​

Note that if you are watching the film from a mobile device or tablet and attempt to cast/share the screen with another device (eg. Chromecast), the subtitles may not appear on the second screen.

Can I hold a public screening of Coffee Heroes? 

​

The pre-purchase of the rent of Coffee Heroes is for private, home use only. The rent of this film does not extend to public events and public screenings. If this private rental is used for public screenings, the individual renting the film will be subject to legal action.

Am I able to download Coffee Heroes to keep permanently?

The digital rental of Coffee Heroes is available for a rental period only, and is not available for permanent download.

The rental period of Coffee Heroes is for 7 days only, commencing on November 28, 2020. All links to watch the film will expire 7 days after purchase.

Am I able to get my purchase refunded? 

​

If you change your mind about wanting to watch the film (which we think is crazy), please submit your request to info@coffeeheroes.tv . We cannot guarantee that refunds will be granted for change of mind or duplicate purchases.

My internet doesn't work well for streaming ... can I have a digital download of the film? 

​

We realise that internet connection and speed may vary across the world. However, we are unable to provide copies of Coffee Heroes for download unless a previous screening license agreement has been signed and paid for previously.
